Aside from the usual slate of new stuff, you (that is, we) PlayStation 3 owners can now play catch-up with Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slice Precipice of Darkness Episode 1 as well as Prince of Persia Classic, both of which were released last week on PSN.
Of course, everyone else you know has played them already! Maybe. In the case of POPC, most likely not.

Hothead Games | Xbox 360 | Comic-adventure-RPG-lite
The first installment of On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darknesswas pretty keen, though not without a few niggling complaints about the turn-based combat and the amount of game for the price. This chapter is cheaper, addressing the second complaint, and is supposed to sport improved fighting as well. That’s two down, uh, none to go. Well then!

Telltale Games | Wii | Pointy-clicky adventure
Enjoy the first couple episodes of Strong Bad’s episodic game? You’ll want this one. Didn’t like them? You won’t! This is the kind of hard-hitting self-evident truism that you come to GameSpite for. And if you’re undecided, remember that it’s cheaper to shell out all at once for the full PC version than to pick up the Wii downloads piecemeal — and by about $15, at that.

Nintendo | Wii | Puzzle
Organize colored triangles into solid hexagons to make them vanish in this puzzle game. Sort of like Hexic, but different. [More specifically, this is the Bitgenerations game formerly known as Dialhex, and was one of the best entries in the series. I recommend it! — Parish]

Virgin | Genesis via Wii | Totally radical action
You may prefer the Super NES version of Earthworm Jim, or then again you may like the Genesis edition more. But what’s important is that you like EWJ, right? And now you can get the Genesis version for just a few bucks! It’s a tough but sublime action game about a worm and his armored space suit and the evil heck-cat, bounty-hunter crow and disgusting grub queen who want to kill him for it. One of those timeless tales of our times sort of things.
Earthworm Jim! F YEAH! If only I had time to play it. :(
I need to figure out how to make those headermajigs. The post looks so naked without one!
Wait, there are people who haven’t played Prince of Persia? What kind of generation have we raised?
There are people I know for whom Prince of Persia is one of the only games they’ve played.
