I can just picture Enrique Iglesias delivering those lines in Once Upon a Time in Mexico.

  3. I’m unfamiliar with this Gamespite character. Is there an archive where one can be brought up to speed on his misadventures so far?

Try Alec, uh, Baldwin. No, that’s not right. Never mind.

Old-school GameSpite is at: http://www.gamespite.net/toastywiki/index.php/Site/Gamespite. Or you could click the “gamespite” category tag beneath the entry.

I did not use a brush for inks; I used a wonderful Mitsubishi pen I discovered at the Kinokuniya stationery store in Japantown. I would give you the model number but I don’t know it and can’t read the fancy kanji calligraphy down the side.

  5. If you mean the font in the comic, yes, because it’s part of the graphic and is meant to resemble a children’s book.

  6. Also, wasn’t the last Atomiswave game…Fist of the North Star by Sega Sammy/Arc Systems?

  7. “That is because GameSpite surrounds us. It penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.” Spitei-chlorians?

  8. So is the woman Sam Kennedy? I’m confused.

(PS. so awesome to have it back)

  9. Sam Kennedy, a woman? What a strange idea. No, that’s Samantha Roosevelt. Not the same person at all.

  10. “That is because GameSpite surrounds us. It penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.”

This is obviously talking about bacon.

  11. Maybe Sam got married.

Between the attitude and the haircut, it’s not hard to imagine this is a grown-up Rorita.

Except for the whole “Not being Japanese” thing.

    …hmm, never mind.

  12. Oh wait. I think I get it. Toasty-chlorians are like chlorophyll that gather light much like a solar-sensor which practically spins this tangent into Lunar Knights territory. Good show. or is it?
