I need to post here more frequently, I know. But it seems someone has pulled a god from my machine, and I need to spend some time engrossed in theology.
I’ve decided I want to be a cyborg when I grow up.
Edit: No, this post isn’t about Xenogears. But just for old times’ sake:
I recommend Karl Barth or Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
This is either the weirdest post from Jeremy in GameSpite history or a thinly veiled reference to an upcoming Xenogears episode of Retronauts.
Either way, I am happy.
Oh, wait, the new Deus Ex game is out soon. Duh.
Ha, no, most likely the new Deus Ex.
I can’t think of anyone better to review Human Revolution, Jeremy.
Even if you didn’t ask for this…
…
You know, it’s stupid but, I’ve always thought that the phrase was Greek because it’s referring to a Greek construct.
Deus is Latin, theos is Greek, and ex is a Latin preposition or particle or whatever. I think? It’s been about 20 years since I took Latin, so I’m pretty rusty.
I wouldn’t recommend being a cyborg. You’re gonna get sweet robot arms and everything, but then some guy’s gonna come along with superior, more discreet nanomachine augmentations, and then you’re just gonna be a Laputan machine.
