GSJ9: Kuzunoha Raidou Vs. Words

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Kuzunoha Raidou Vs. King Abaddon is definitely in the running for having one of the longest titles ever inflicted on a video game. I hear it’s pretty good, though! Sadly, I haven’t played it for myself, because the title’s too big to fit into my slim model PlayStation 2. If only I hadn’t given away my chunky original model!

Anyway, Jeremy Signor’s been courageous enough to brave the onslaught of words and report his findings on the game’s occult themes and ambiguous underlying moral messages. Give him a hand, won’t you?

  1. Title… too big? Am I reading too much into this joke here, or…?

Regardless, good read. I’m not sure why, but I always wrote the Devil Summoner games off. It would seem that this was a bad move. Shame I’ll never be willing to spend big on that first game, though.

  2. I’ve not played it either but the Jack Frost plushie is my favourite special edition trinket ever. Well worth the ridiculous postage to Ireland!
