Hey boss, I found a GSQ3 update, but I dropped it

“Boss, I couldn’t help but notice that people keep talking about me! It looks like I’m famous. People really like me, huh, boss? I bet you must feel pretty luck to have an Internet celebrity like me working for you!

“By the way, boss, I dropped the key to your apartment a little while ago. Sorry! While I was looking for it, I found this thing that it seems like you wrote. I was really happy that you wrote about me, boss! It’s nice that strangers like to talk about me, but to know I made such an impression in your heart… it makes me super happy.

“Well, I thought it made me happy, anyway. But then I read what you had to say, and, well, it wasn’t very nice. Why would you say these things, boss? I don’t understand. I just want to help you, boss. Don’t you like me? Boss? Boss!?”

  1. This is the best Gamespite Quarterly 3 post hands-down, though Sir Cucumber’s got it easy compared to that crazy nut who decided to do a few screenshot comparisons between the localized and Japanese versions long after the robot squid’s Let’s Play was sent off to that great salad bar in the sky. It was some guy who claims he’s a master of men of metal or something…..OH CRAP. O_O;

    Granny Plum being a cigarette dealer instead of a coffee shop owner in Japan was awesomely politically incorrect though, as was the totally unedited outside shot of said cigarette house on the main street.

  2. oh my goodness, why hasn’t anyone done a MGS game over codec with Percy screaming, “Boss? Boss! BOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!1111”

  3. Yeah, I was going to say, the repeated use of the word Boss makes me think Percy has Naked Snake’s voice.

  4. I don’t normally comment on the front page, but this is amazing. Not only because it’s damned hilarious, but also because it’s a great example of one of the reasons I like Talking Time so much: because it actually influences its own source.

    Comments are acting weird for me so I hope this works this time.
