Ok, I tried.
Pokemon are downright creepy. The first time I saw that giraffe thing, I couldn’t help but think, “Really? This is as creative of a creature that they could come up with?”
Finally a chance to share my favorite source of (unofficial and Babelfished) Pokemonov lore. Only 57 of the critters so far though.
An excerpt:
“These [pokemony] are very arrogant. They assume that it is very beautiful, it is difficult in this to dissuade them. They love to fly by the flocks above the flat smoothness of lake, being reflected in the water and admiring for their reflection. Sometimes this costs them the life, when, after being looked at to itself, [Pidzhotto] they insert themselves by head into the coastal cliffs and die in the terrible tortures.
Several [Pidzhotto] sit in the congress of the USA.”
I have the exact same problem with random words circling my head for days.
This past week, the name “Yuzo Koshiro” has been bouncing around in there, and I don’t know where it came from. I didn’t even know who the guy WAS until I beat Etrian Odyssey 2 and saw his name in the credits, which freaked me out a bit.
Yuzo Koshiro also did the music to streets of rage.
Dammit, Onomarchus, it’s seriously uncool to top the original post in the comments thread.
Some pokemon are creepy, like the ghost-type creature Gengar as he has a perpetual grin on his face.
